                 COVID-19 Protocol

Last updated: Sept 21, 2021

Please be advised that effective September 22, 2021  all non-essential, indoor businesses are required to check vaccination records for those who are 12 years old and over to ensure maximum safety to the most vulnerable.

Please be advised that  "A negative COVID-19 test or recent infection will not entitle a person to enter non-essential settings", (see reference article below) which was previously believed to be "acceptable". This is to clarify that ONLY the vaccinated certificate issued by the Ontario Government will be accepted, along with a piece of valid government issued photo ID.

"The premier said bylaw officers would be responsible for enforcing the new certificate policy. For individuals and businesses who do not comply with the program, fines will be issued under the Reopening Ontario Act."

For in-person Private students - Ukulele / Voice / Piano / Guitar / Drum etc.

  • We kindly asked parents to drop-off and pick-up the student at the door. Teacher will bring them to the door once the lesson is finished.

  • No parents are allowed to come in except pre-arranged in advance for specific reasons.

For Yamaha Group Lessons that required Parent to participate:

  • Proof of fully vaccination is required at the door with a piece of photo ID

  • For example: Apple Course, Music Wonderland, JMC 1 & 2

For Yamaha Group Lessons DO NOT require Parent to participate:

  • We kindly asked parents to drop-off and pick-up the student at the door. Teacher will bring them to the door once the lesson is finished.

  • If a parent wants to join the lesson, an official proof vaccination record is required.

  • For example: YMC2, JMC 3 & 4, Music Friends

Thank you for your attention and please understand that these decisions are not made lightly. We truly hope these difficult restrictions are to be lifted shortly but until then, we will have to be compliant with the law.
