SILENCE Rocks the Southside Shuffle!

We are thrilled to share that our youth rock band, SILENCE, proudly represented Perfect Harmony Music Studio at the 2025 Tim Hortons Southside Shuffle – Mississauga Rising Star Youth Challenge on September 6, 2025.

On the World Stage, SILENCE performed alongside three other talented groups: Callie Back, Polished Bones, and Queen of the Country. With all members under the age of 14, SILENCE was the youngest band in the competition - and they shone brightly, winning 3rd place overall and 2nd among the rock bands. 🎸🥁

This incredible opportunity gave our students a true taste of the professional music world. From artist passes and backstage hospitality, to personalized sound checks and working with an outstanding production team, every detail made our young musicians feel valued and inspired. Special thanks to Ron Duquette, Chuck Jackson, Karen Jackson, Audrey Dixon, the backstage hospitality team, and the amazing sound techs for creating such a memorable experience. Your support meant the world to our students who are just beginning to explore music as a serious passion.

👏 Congratulations to Jayden, Nathan, Amy, Adam, and Elkan for their dedication and commitment. After a summer of rehearsals, first preparing for the Mississauga Hong Kong Festival and then stepping up as finalists for this Youth Challenge, they delivered a powerful and engaging performance that won over the audience.

We are deeply grateful to our PROJECT: ROCK BAND coaches—Ms. Megan, Ms. Abi, Mr. Trevor, and Teacher Sam—for their mentorship, inspiration, and passion. Your guidance empowers these young musicians to achieve more than they imagined possible.

At Perfect Harmony Music Studio, we take pride in creating a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment for students to grow—not only as musicians, but as confident young artists.
